Our Firestone 50 Years of Service - 1900 - 1950 - bronze medallion award is a wonderful piece of American history. This raised relief vintage medallion measures 4-1/8" in diameter. Encircling this service recogntion language in the center of the medallion are the following images: men extracting rubber from trees, a horse drawn carriage, an early auto, a later auto, a truck, chemistry flasks, a tractor, a hot rod racer, construction equipment and an airplane. The medallion still has its vintage patina and has not been cleaned. The back of this mid-century piece has 2 holes drilled in it for mounting, and some scratches.
