Purchased as part of a larger lot of watches at a recent estate sale. This Gruen Veri-Thin winds and runs even though you can?t see the face very well due to dirt and discoloration. Regardless, this would be a great cosmetic project for someone with watch aptitude. Definitely not us. Or it could be used for parts as the 426 movement is valued and the gold filled case is in good shape. Needs a new leather band and the backplate is very hard to read but it is not gold filled - instead it?s ?Guildite Base Metal?. See photos. Someone bring this back to life!
