Set of 6 Boston Saber leg Dining Chairs Circa 1830, having drop in seats that are covered in a scenic tapestry material, carved back crest rail with a well carved leaf and scroll design under top rail. These are mahogany, mahogany veneer, and have Oak frame structural supports, good condition, very solid; I believe the coverings to have been replaced. There is apparent soiling on the seat of some chairs. These have descended through the Varnum family of Boston Massachusetts. One chair has the backing slat repaired with apparant modern glue.
