This will prevent deformation. Rinse out thoroughly before placing in the dishwasher. Residue from color-rich foods like tomato sauce can stain the outside of the container as the Color Control is only on the inside of the base. Locate the freezer?s coldest zone/drawer (read the appliance leaflet) and place the specific food in that zone for faster freezing.? The secret to excellent results with vegetables is to blanch them in boiling water for 1 to 2 minutes. After blanching, cool the vegetables quickly in ice water before freezing.
