The bulb socket and the associated parts are off aluminium, brass or metal. It has gold trim and the handles are gold colored as well. The center decor it is featuring a courting scene. The style looks like Victorian and is probably of Dutch origin. Please do Your own research, prior the purchase. The lamp incl. the shade frame is approximately 21" (52 cm) tall and approximately 5" (12 cm) wide. The lamp is used and there are some usual traces of wear. The gold color on the edges and on the handles has some grazing. The bulb socket and the frame are little bit loose and need some adjustment. The lampshade is missing and not included, please have Your own shade. The red bulb in the first picture is for demonstration only and not part of this sale.
